Much of this site (they say 80%) is put together by kids, for kids, boys and girls, excellent for all ages, even "older" kids.
Bradford Robotic Telescope
An automatic telescope that you can control! Based in the United Kingdom, the telescope points where you tell it to (in the northern sky). You can then view the results on your screen, via the Internet.

An education and fun site with excellent links and educational projects. TheLinks for Kids link is worth using!

Very excellent site, resource for research, help with homework, good for all ages, even those odd adults who pop up in these pages once in a while!
Cornell Theory Center Math and Science Gateway
In spite of its imposing title, this site is really excellent, even for younger children, many resources to access free, movies, lots of fun and education!

Stanford Testing Systems
A company site, but offers a vast amount of material for free, including SAT course material on-line.
College Power Prep
Take a sample SAT test, see how your score matches up to the school of your choice averages, get SAT help (especially in those areas where you scored poorly!) and use their general information on the SAT.
Vocabulary University
Build your vocabulary through several approaches offered, all of which are designed to be fun.
Vocabulary Syndicate
Sister site to the Vocabulary Univerity, it's hard to tell which is better, but they are different.
